These terms govern Pro, the paid plan for Tintstep. They are part of the Terms of Service. Wren Foundry operates Tintstep. If these terms and the Terms of Service conflict on price, renewal, cancellation, or a refund, these terms control. For a single charge, the amount on the Stripe checkout page controls if it differs from the price stated here.
1. What you buy
Pro is a personal, annual subscription. During a paid period it lets a connected extension build two files that Free does not build: a computed-style file for the selected element, and a page report for a completed scan. The free tools remain available whether or not you subscribe. The free tools include copying a color, the scan, contrast, and downloads.
The price is 29 USD per year, plus tax Stripe calculates at checkout, unless the pricing page states a different current price at the moment you subscribe. The price you are charged is the price Stripe shows before you pay.
Wren Foundry will not move you from Free to Pro without a checkout you complete. Wren Foundry will not add a second subscription while one is already active.
2. Renewal
The subscription renews each year until you cancel. Stripe charges the payment method on file at the start of the next year. A price increase does not change a year you have already paid for. Wren Foundry will email you at least 15 days before a higher price applies to a later renewal.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel from Billing, which opens the payment portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Wren Foundry does not charge a cancellation fee. The portal is where you update a card.
4. Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EEA or the United Kingdom, you have 14 days to withdraw from this distance contract unless you request immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose that right once supply begins.
Pro is digital content. Wren Foundry supplies it as soon as payment succeeds, so the extension can build the two files. Before Wren Foundry takes payment, the billing page requires this confirmation: you request that Pro start as soon as payment succeeds, and you acknowledge that you lose any 14-day withdrawal right once Pro starts. If you do not agree, do not pay. If a mandatory law still gives you a withdrawal right, Wren Foundry will honor it.
5. Failed payments
If a renewal charge does not go through, you keep Pro for 7 days after the paid year ends. Wren Foundry emails you. If the charge is still unpaid after those 7 days, the computed-style file and the page report stop. Copying a color, the scan, contrast, and downloads stay free. Stripe may retry the payment method. Updating the card in the portal restores Pro when the subscription is active again.
6. Refunds
You may ask for a refund of the current period within 14 days after the charge if the extension never received a working Pro license because of a failure on Wren Foundry's side. Write to support@wrenfoundry.com from the account email.
Outside that situation, Wren Foundry does not refund a partial year, except where the law requires it, or where section 1 of the Terms of Service requires a refund because a Pro feature was removed. A full refund of the only charge for a period turns Pro off when the refund is processed.
A chargeback turns Pro off while the dispute is open. If the dispute is decided for Wren Foundry and the subscription is active, Pro returns.
7. Taxes
You will pay the tax Stripe calculates on the checkout page. Wren Foundry does not give tax advice.
8. Deleting the account
If you delete the account during a paid period, Wren Foundry cancels the subscription so it does not renew. Fees already due remain due. Deletion is not a refund. Ask for a refund under section 6 before you delete the account if you want one, so the charge can still be matched to the account.
