This policy describes cookies and similar storage on the Tintstep website at tinstep.wrenfoundry.com. Wren Foundry operates Tintstep. The extension uses Chrome's extension storage. That storage is described in the Privacy Policy and is not a website cookie.

These cookies are not used for advertising. The session cookie is set when you sign in. The consent cookie is set when you choose in the banner. The server also stores the analytics choice, with the same opaque key and without your email, for 12 months.
2. Analytics, off until you opt in
If you choose Turn analytics on, the site loads Datadog Real User Monitoring to count page views on tinstep.wrenfoundry.com. Datadog may then set its own cookies or use local storage. Those cookies are not set while analytics stay off. The extension does not load them.
Wren Foundry does not use advertising cookies. Wren Foundry does not allow a third party to place a cookie for ads.
3. Your choice
The banner offers Turn analytics on and Keep analytics off. Keeping analytics off leaves the analytics script unloaded. You can change the choice by clearing tintstep_consent and loading the site again. Clearing that cookie does not sign you out. Blocking tintstep_session in the browser signs you out.
