This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to the Tintstep website, accounts, support, and the connection between the extension and an account. Wren Foundry operates Tintstep.
Inspecting a page you are allowed to view is an ordinary use of the extension. It is not a breach of this policy. You are responsible for having the right to inspect that page and to copy what you take from it.
You will not:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Tintstep website, the license service, or another person's account without Wren Foundry's written permission.
- Send malware, or use the contact form or a support message to deliver a payload.
- Circumvent a limit the service enforces. The service limits account creation, failed sign-in, password recovery, support messages, and extension connections. When a limit is reached, the service tells you when to try again.
- Create an account with an email address you do not control, or state an age that is not true.
- Use Tintstep if a sanctions law that applies to this service prohibits the transaction.
- Submit another person's personal data in a support message when a description of the problem is enough.
- Interfere with another person's use of the service, including by attempting to use their account.
- Resell, rent, or sublicense access to Tintstep.
- Present Tintstep as a product of Google, or use the Tintstep name or mark except as section 5 of the Terms of Service allows.
- Use the extension's license connection to send a page URL, CSS, or a copied color. The connection accepts a pairing code or a device credential.
Wren Foundry may remove a message or suspend an account that breaches this policy, as section 11 of the Terms of Service describes. Wren Foundry will tell you when it can do so safely. A suspension does not erase a period you have paid for unless the breach is the payment itself. You may appeal by replying to the notice. Wren Foundry will review the appeal. Wren Foundry does not promise reinstatement.
