Do I need an account?

The free extension works without one. Create an account to buy Pro, connect browsers, and manage billing.

What does Tintstep inspect?

Tintstep reads computed styles from supported elements on the current page. A scan includes open shadow roots and up to 5,000 reachable elements.

Does it recover a site's design system?

Tintstep shows styles the browser computes. Exported palettes use generated labels; they do not recover original design-token names.

What does the contrast check cover?

Supported text on solid backgrounds. Text over images, gradients, and other unsupported effects is marked unscored.
